Backwoods Sound and Light, created by Josh Peters, provides a full-service sound and light entertainment experience for any need. We are your Reasonable Rate DJ for weddings, graduation parties and any function you would want a DJ or Emcee at.
When we meet, we will discuss what YOU want. I offer unlimited consultations, on the phone, email, or in person. I value your business so I personally spend approximately 40 hours for every event to assure your needs are being met. When it comes time for your event, I will be the one there. Not someone I hired.
My goal is to make the event as seamless as possible so that you can focus on your important day. The reason I started doing this is all the horror stories from friends about DJs charging crazy rates ($1,800!?) or DJ's that refuse to follow your guideline. The memories you and your guests take away from your event should not be about how much you paid or how bad the DJ was.
I will do as much or as little crowd interaction as YOU want. I will provide the necessary equipment for a wide range of activities from hula-hoop contests to dollar dances to any other games or special requests you have. Additionally, if you or your significant other don’t want certain things, I will honor your requests, no matter how many times someone asks. I am here to serve YOU. This is your event, you are in the driver’s seat.
